2016 Golden Globe Awards

The awards season is truly upon us with last night's Golden Globe Awards. Branded as "the biggest party of the year" by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, it was a star studded event at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Here at Marzano Films we were please to see that there were nominations in various categories for severel film projects that we have been involved in.
The Revenant, The Martian and Spy.
This morning we are delighted to see that The Revenant and The Martian both picked up several of the coverted awards.

Best actor in a motion picture drama - Leonardo DiCaprio
Best director in a motion picture drama - Alejandro González Iñárritu
The Martian
Best motion picture musical or comedy
Best actor in a motion picture musical or comedy - Matt Damon
In addition to the motion picture awards, Marzano Films were also pleased to see that Idris Elba picked up a nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Series, Limited Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television as Luther in the tv series by the same name. Well done Idris! Next time a winner lets hope?
