Jurassic World: REBIRTH

Marzano Films, have now completed work as the Aerial Unit on the new Jurassic World feature: REBIRTH providing both Helicopter and Drone Units for the production in the UK, Thailand and Malta.

The talented crew and state of the art technology,  delivered Main, Second and VFX Units aerial cinematography from both manned and unmanned aircraft with CEO and Aerial DOP John Marzano at the helm.

The DJI Inspire 3 drone aircraft has yet again proved that it has it all - engineered as an all in one 8k camera drone, piloted by experienced Film Drone Pilot, Leo Whitfield, the DJI Inspire 3 savoured the tasks of action stunt work, VFX plates and precision manouvres for repeated accuracy, proving itself a cinematic workhorse, in terms of drone filming and effciency.

Our Aerial Coordinator, Jenni Saunders, worked in collaboration with the Maltese Civil Aviation Directorate to fulfill the complex administrative protocols for permissions to position in an Italian helicopter, ready for the installion of the Mini Eclipse helicopter filming system and Red Weapon Helium and Angenieux Optimo 24-290 T2.8 Zoom Lens camera payload.

Latina Pictures provided full assistance and exemplorary safety and emergency support at Malta Films Studios, working closely with ground handling agents out of Malta International Airport.
